When I couldn’t get Skitch to take full-scroll browser screenshots, I asked my twitter friends for help, and they came through. Several recommended Paparazzi and @rodbegbie pointed me to Page Saver.

Paparazzi is a standalone app based on Webkit, so you’ll see what pages look like in Safari. Paste a URL and you’ll get a nice PNG output. I don’t see a way to authenticate, so I’m guessing there are a lot of pages that you just can’t capture with Paparazzi.

Page Saver is a Firefox extension, so you can grab full-scroll images with one click from inside Firefox (I’m using FF2) so you’re capturing what you see in the browser. It’s handy to use, and I’m keeping it installed.
